Salary: Hoople Band C £20,493 - £25,747

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising head teachers and school staff on budget setting and in particular ensuring that the proposed budget is within the school’s projected income over a five year planning period. You will be the school’s main financial advisor and provide financial guidance on a wide range of activities. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person to gain a wide range of experience which has been beneficial to previous post-holders in their future careers.

Applicants should be qualified (or a finalist) at AAT with experience of working in a varied finance environment. You must independently minded and confident in own abilities with excellent communications skills and able to become comfortable dealing with head teachers, governors, school bursars and other school support staff on a day to day basis. You must have strong ICT abilities and be able to demonstrate use of excel well, as well as being conversant with Business World and other financial systems.

The role will require some flexibility in working hours to manage the peaks and troughs of work for our schools.
