Duties and Responsibilities

UCL’s BEAMS School Finance Team require an Assistant Management Accountant to support a varied

 

portfolio of Departments within the Faculty of Engineering. The post holder will be the primary

contact for finance and Business Partner to staff within the departments such as Departmental

Managers and Finance Officers. The role will manage the month end process and have significant

involvement in the annual budget and forecast cycle.

The post is available for 1 year in the first instance.

Internal secondments would be welcome for this post.

Key Requirements

The post holder will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be actively studying for an

accountancy qualification. They will have experience of business partnering, possess strong

communication skills, the ability to analyse financial data and be proficient in the use of Microsoft

Excel. The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously to meet deadlines and be able to

manage their time effectively, whilst being strong team player contributing to Team and Divisional

objectives.
