Maintain a tax calendar to ensure the company is meeting all filing obligations
Assist in the compilation of information for all sales tax filings and audits
Assist in the compilation of information for all federal and state tax income and franchise tax filings and audits
Assist in the preparation of business licenses and annual reports
Provide support in maintaining the state escheat compliance process
Provide support in maintaining the self assessed use tax compliance process
Other special projects as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Access, and Word
Must have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing available resources
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be self-motivating, hard working, analytical and proactive
Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the organization
Flexibility to work overtime when needed
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a progressive tax environment
Experience with OneSource Income Tax software preferred
